The ‘wee county’ of just sixty square miles is in the middle of Scotland’s central belt, equidistant from Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Visit the mighty Castle Campbell high above Dollar Glen, or explore Robert the Bruce’s former home of the Clackmannan Tower, and absorb the haunting history of Scotland’s past. There are plenty of walking routes too, or you can amble round the little villages that stud the area.
