Pack those walking boots and head off into this beautiful part of Wales with its open moorlands and rich woodlands, and there’s plenty to see if you’re into history and archaeology. Come visit St Illtyd’s thirteenth century church In Brynithel and don’t miss the Sir Lowry Ironworks, beautifully preserved to document the enormous impact of the industry during the Industrial Revolution.
